Repair it when we can. Replace it when we should.

Cracked, scuffed or pushed-in bumpers repaired with plastic welding and refinishing — or replaced with new parts when the damage goes deeper. Sensors and cameras checked either way.

What it is

A modern bumper is a safety system with a cover on it.

Behind the cover sit the absorber, reinforcement bar, brackets, parking sensors and often radar. Minor to moderate damage is repaired by plastic welding, reshaping and refinishing the cover. When the cover is torn, the mounts are broken or the absorber is crushed, replacement with an OEM or quality aftermarket part is the right call — and we’ll show you the reason on the car.

Why it matters

It absorbs the next impact

A compromised bumper can’t do its job in a second collision. Repair restores the structure, not just the look.

Cracks grow

Every heat cycle opens a crack a little further. Early repair is cheaper than a replacement later.

Sensors live there

Parking sensors, radar and cameras mounted in the bumper need to be checked — and often recalibrated — after an impact.

How it works

Four steps, one point of contact.

01

Inspect

Cover, absorber, reinforcement, mounting points and every sensor — plus a look for hidden damage behind it.

02

Repair or replace

A plan and written estimate for whichever is right for the car, coordinated with your insurer.

03

Do the work

Weld, reshape and refinish the cover, or fit the new part — then align it and verify the sensors.

04

Refinish

Computerized color match, primer, base and clear, polished to blend with the panels around it.

Questions

Straight answers.

What El Cajon and San Diego drivers ask us most. If yours isn’t here, send it with your photos and we’ll answer it with the estimate.

Should my bumper be repaired or replaced?
It depends on the cover, the mounts, the absorber behind it and any sensors. Minor cracks and scuffs are repaired; torn covers or broken mounts are replaced. We show you the reason on the car.
Do you check parking sensors and cameras after bumper work?
Yes. Sensors and cameras are checked after every bumper repair and recalibrated according to the manufacturer's procedure when required.
How much does bumper repair cost in El Cajon?
It varies with the damage and the car. Send photos for a free estimate — repair is often cheaper than replacement, and we work with every insurance carrier.
Will the bumper match the rest of the car?
Yes. PPG color matching and blending into the adjacent panels, by a PPG certified painter.
